Expanded cinema – mapping and live mixing / 6 min
A spectral figure inhabits the forest in a liminal state between sleep and wakefulness. The piece explores phantasmagoria as a visual language, articulating 6 phases of sleep —especially paralysis and REM— through luminous textures, hypnotic loops, and music. The body, multiplied and dissolved by digital effects, becomes an unstable presence: it does not narrate, it appears. A passage through the invisible, through what vibrates just before vanishing.
PHASE 1: Drowsiness (transition from wakefulness to sleep).
PHASE 2: Light sleep.
PHASE 3: Deep sleep (delta).
PHASE 4: REM sleep (rapid eye movement) – Sleep paralysis.
PHASE 5: Lucid dreaming / False awakenings.
PHASE 6: Awakening / Dissipation .
